Awards & Recognitions
Is there a CT AMTA member you know who you would like to see recognized for their contribution and a job well done?
Do you know someone who deserves ‘thanks’ for their commitment to making a difference in the massage community or the community at large?
Each year we take pleasure in honoring deserving individuals during our April Chapter meeting through Awards and Certificates of Appreciation. It is important and it is fun!
If you know of someone who deserves consideration, we would like to hear from you.
Please take the time to complete and submit an AMTA CT Chapter Awards and Recognition application form [.doc][.pdf] . Application forms as well as a brief description of the different awards are available within the CT Chapter Newsletter and on the CT Chapter Website.
Application received the last week in March will be reviewed by the Awards and Recognitions Committee as part of the selection process. Please review the summaries below.

This year we implemented a new award, the "Count Me In" award. This award recognizes an individual who stepped up to fulfill a specific role or task that was of significant importance to the chapter.
This year we recognize as individual who did just that, an individual who stepped up to assume the role of New England Regional Conference registrar; a role both time consuming and challenging, one that was critical to the success of the conference. Marilyn Waters fulfilled this role with confidence, a great deal of competence and an equal amount of patience.
With the presentation of the first "Count Me In" Award we express our appreciation for a job well done to Marilyn Waters.
