State Statute Requiring Human Trafficking Notice To Be Posted In All Areas Where Massage Therapy Is Being Performed

The following statute was passed by the legislature, effective October 2017 requiring a Massage Therapy business to post an 8.5 x 11” notice regarding human trafficking. Failure to comply could result in a $100 fine for the first offense and $250 fine for subsequent offenses with possible loss of license.
