Call for AMTA position statements for consideration by House of Delegates at 2008 Convention

You have an opportunity to recommend AMTA position statements to be considered by our House of Delegates. Proposals can be developed at any time, but to be considered in 2008, you'll need to submit your proposal through your delegate by February 1, 2008. Your delegate will then need to submit it to Toni Roberts as Chair of the Position Statements Proposal Review Workgroup by February 15.

Guidelines for submitting Position Statements proposals are available in the members' website section: www.amtamassage.org/member/positionintro.html. There, you also can read the Position Statement approved by the House of Delegates in October 2006 and its supporting information. Proposals which meet guidelines are voted on each year at the House of Delegate meeting.

AMTA gives us all an opportunity to submit our ideas for position statements. If you have thought about a position you think AMTA should have, and you know there is solid research to support it, be heard and submit a position statement proposal.
