Legislative Awareness Day
Mark your calendars for Monday, May 5, 2008. This is the date set for Massage Awareness Day at the Capitol. The hours will be 9:30am to 3:30pm. This is always an important day for our profession and this year is no exception. In light of the new law regarding the use of the term 'massage' passing in the last legislative session, it is important that we remain active with our legislators. This is one way in which we do this.
As in the past we will provide chair massage to legislators, staff and other workers at the Capitol. This is a great time to fine tune your personal skills in chair massage, self promotion and networking. Plus, you will be working with a great group of AMTA therapists.
